The week long Professional Installer course has been designed for plumbers, kitchen fitters, bathroom fitters and others who need to be able to include the competence of tiling as part of their skill set. These days more and more customers are looking for a complete bathroom or kitchen solution, they would prefer not to have to co-ordinate a number of different trades just to achieve a finished project. With the skills developed on this course you will be able to offer tiling as part of your service.

The course covers the following areas and is focused on developing practical competencies;

• Helath and safety
• Tools
• Different types of tiles, adhesives, grouts, sealers and their applications
• Surface preperation
• Setting out, (starting with straight forward designs and building up to more complicated banded designs).
• Cutting and drilling tiles
• Fixing tiles
• Use of edgings and beadings
• Grouting
• Application of sealers
• Calculation of material needs and preperation of estimates

During the course you will gain extensive hands on experience, backed up by our expert guidance, and will complete at least one major project in one of our custom built bathroom, kitchen or shower room environments.

Courses start on Monday morning at 08:30 and conclude on the Friday at 16:00, during the week the course hours are 08:30 - 17:30 (yes! they are long days but there is a lot to learn).

The cost of the course is £495.00 + VAT (£581.63).
