Develop your plumbing skills today, for a better tomorrow

We recognise that everyone learns at a different rate and that each person brings to the course a unique set of skills and experiences. Our objective is to build upon your existing skills and to teach you new ones so that you fully develop your competency in the areas of plumbing and/or tiling.

All of our courses have been developed using competency based learning, drawing on the personal experiences of professional plumbers and industry best practices as defined by the WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme).

Each student is issued with a detailed set of notes and practical assessment modules. Over the period of the course these modules are assessed and when you demonstarte the required level of competency they will be signed off. As your skills develop you will build up a detailed record of your competency, this can be used to show people the types of work that you have achieved and the standard.

Our main instructor, Jim House, has over fourteen years of experience the design, development and delivery of technical training programs. Jim is also a recognised local plumber in the Maidenhead area having established a successful local plumbing company, Nemo's Plumbing.

We believe that quality learning comes from a course with clear objectives and dedicated instructors. For this reason we will never put more than six students on any of our courses. To see more of our facility please take a look at our on-line photo gallery.

We have taken a great deal effort to design and develop our custom learning environments, these comprise of bathrooms, kitchen areas, showers, airing cupboards and heating systems. We aim to reproduce the conditions as close as possible to those that you will find in most domestic properties, so that as you work on them you will develop the confidence and competence to work on 'real life' systems when you leave us.

We are also committed to a process of continuous improvement and welcome all feedback from our students and ex-students as this helps to improve the service that we can offer you.
